Wacked out stewardess

Can you believe this woman? If this story is indeed true (and it appears to be since other passengers are validating it), this stewardess just doesn't need to be working right now. It sounds like she's having a mental breakdown or something. It's obvious the baby was just saying "Bye Bye" and they were on an airplane going bye bye. Maybe the child had even been watching another plan leave before them and was saying bye bye to that plane. This is a baby for Pete's sake! I can't even begin to imagine my reaction if someone told me to drug my child to shut them up. It wouldn't be pretty, I can guarantee that. With this incident and the recent one where the breastfeeding mother was treated so badly, it makes me doubly glad I'm not flying these days. I have anxiety about flying anyway and have had plenty of bad stewardess experiences and bad flight experiences. The last thing I would need is bad treatment with my child thrown into the picture. Recipe for disaster!

All this being said, there are some great stewardesses out there and I admire those who can do this job because there's no way I could do it. I just hope those who aren't doing a good job take a vacation and think things out before something like this happens again.
