Webhosting service

This isn't necessarily related to the topic my blog covers, but I've been reading in a lot of forums lately about people trying to find a hosting service that is good and not too expensive. I know there are a lot of good ones out there, but I thought I'd put in my two cents about ours.



Host Excellence is the one we use, and it's wonderful. I haven't had a complaint yet, and we've been customers since October. We ended up just going with them because I'd done exhaustive reviews and research on the popular ones out there and tried to compare until I was getting a headache. We picked Host Excellence and we've been happy with our choice. They have excellent 24/7 live chat support that helps me all the time with just about any issue you can imagine. Whenever a service has been down (which has only been a few times), it's either back up before I have a chance to ask about it or it's resolved before I get off live chat with them. They have a ton of tools at your service, and a site builder program with templates that I've found pretty easy to use. We have more e-mails available than we'll ever use, and more bandwidth and storage space than we've come close to dipping into. We do have the advanced plan ($9.95/month), because my husband has a site as well, but I hear good things about their instant plan as well ($4.95/month). Their starter plan is only $2.95/month but I don't know if you get free registration for your domain with that one. There are different prices and options for linux based or windows based (I don't really know what that means though!) Anyway, with so many inquiries into paid hosts these days, I thought I'd put my opinion out there as a satisfied customer of one of the companies. I've been doing searches on Host Excellence today and have found several more hosting review sites that have given them high marks recently. If you're looking into a web host, I suggest you consider them. Be sure to research any host you're looking into!
